BRC undertake minor repairs or major reroofing of all types of pitched roof generally found on commercial and industrial properties.
BRC are able to completely remove old roofs, including those constructed from asbestos containing materials, then to replace them with new insulated panels to meet the requirements of the current Building Regulations.
Alternatively, BRC are able to overclad existing roofs to provide a new skin over the existing. Various types of materials can be specified with due consideration to climatic and environmental conditions. Most of BRC’s new roofing products are available in numerous colours to suit clients’ requirements.
Natural daylighting is commonly incorporated into pitched roofing and BRC are able to replace existing translucent roof panels of any profile and age with new non-fragile GRP. Typically, non-fragile and multi-skin insulating rooflights are included in reroofing projects.
BRC can also install many types of ventilators into existing or new roofing systems. BRC routinely refurbish or replace gutters and rainwater pipes as part of roof refurbishment projects. In many instances, eaves gutters will be replaced with BRC ‘Eavesline’ coated steel gutters.
As well as carrying out major refurbishments and replacements, BRC are also able to undertake repairs to existing pitched roofs, for example: where storm damage has occurred or where a roof is leaking as a result of defective or missing flashing details.
