Insulation can be added when re-roofing in a number of ways, including steel liner systems with insulation quilt and packers, or the use of lining boards such as polyurethane. Alternatively, composite (single insulated) panels may be used.
Natural daylighting is often incorporated into pitched roofs using patent glazing or profiled translucent sheeting. Provision can easily be made for these areas to be insulated to very high standards.
